I don't know what to say. I took my truck to the Dodge dealership. I had to wait a month to get an appointment! The man with whom I spoke with wasn't too pleased to see me, and all he asked me was "who made this appointment"? Then I showed him the book where I had every maintenance check signed off by a mechanic according to owner's manual. I also had a large envelope of additional work I had done to my truck. I also had a list of all the things I wanted repaired/checked on my truck.

He looked at NONE of the above. Instead, he told me it would be "a day or two" before he'd get my truck looked at. I had dropped my truck off at 8:00 a.m. Monday, July 30. I never heard another word, so I called him on Thursday late afternoon, and he was not very courteous, and reminded me he had told me "he had told me it would be a day or two" before he could look at my truck.

A full week later, the following Monday, he said the truck was ready. All he had done was the 4 federal recalls and ordered the parts for the seat belt on the driver's side which is broken. He told me the issue with the gas mileage is taken care of and when I asked him what was wrong, he didn't answer. When I asked him how much, he said: "It was on him", and he smiled. He told me the odometer would "look different." I asked him what he meant, but he didn't answer.

And he never repaired it, either. Tomorrow, Aug. 11, 2018, my new car warranty expires. This really is outrageous behavior from the dealer whom I purchased this "old truck" (according to the mechanic) from.

While elk hunting at about 4,500 ft. elev. the weather turned cold - down to -6F, highs were about +23F. pick up started using about twice as much gas as in the same terrain in summer. I was in 4x4 low range most of the time The problem continued for about 250 miles when it warmed up to 35F. while driving home. Until it warmred up the PU didn't seem to shift right. Has anyone else had problems with gas mileage in cold weather?

My gas mileage was around 18 mpg around town and 22 on the highway.

My mileage now is around 15.5 around town and about 18 on the highway.

When you step on the gas the truck bogs down, until to push harder or let off. When accelerating on the highway you to have to push the gas down and then push it some more to get response.

I took it to the garage and was told there is nothing wrong. Checks just fine.

There is a major change in the way the truck runs and performs.
