1500 ST 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 9,000 miles

ok I bought a brand new 2013 dodge ram 1500 crew cab,auto,hemi,4x4.on 4-19-2103 I drove it to work parked in the same place I have for years, put it in park took the keys out. Walked away for five minutes. Heard a big bang.me and my co workers walked out to see what it was.it was my truck.it some how took off down a steep hill. The parking gear had failed. The tow truck driver hooked up to it and witnessed the parking gear was not working. I took video of it and pictures' bought even the best warranty it could get. When the truck was taken to the shop.chysler would not fix the truck. Because I did not set he ebrake.the truck was destroyed but repairable. I ended up having to trade it in, now im out a extra 15000 dollars a higher payment, and in bad finance shape thanks to dodge. If any one has there tranny fail please email me so we can sue them. Or any one know who I can talk to please help.

1500 V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 1,500 miles

We bought the truck on 09/13/2012. Brand new truck with 129 miles. On Nov 16, 2012 while driving on freeway, speed went from 65 to 45 and finally stopped running. We towed it to the dealer and they told us the transmission blew up. The dealer still has the truck and now claiming the warranty may not apply. We bought a lifetime transmission warranty.

I would never buy Dodge.

1500 Big Horn Crew,4x4 5.7L Hemi

  • Automatic transmission
  • 6,514 miles

My new truck had only 6500 miles on it, and the transmission failed completely. 1st gear is all it would go in. I have had it at the dealer for almost two weeks and found out by them it was a faulty transmission from the factory. They told me it had over 12 diagnostic issues.I will never buy another dodge truck, its been a bad experience from dealer till now!
