This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Ram dealer.
Need to have it fixed. I did not pay lots of money to sit in stench while driving. This the only compliant I have about the truck.

Foul stench coming from the heater/ac vents. Also odor from engine bay compartment. Opened radiator and reservoir and smelled worse. Contacted service dept. Chrysler is aware of the problem but has no fix at this time. Have to wait for tsb or fix. Vehicles affected are 2013-14 Rams 1500. Some are known as stink vehicles, others as non-stink vehicles. Problem started with the 2013 models. Some other Chrysler vehicles may be infected or affected also. Pretty piss poor that you finance a 43 thousand dollar vehicle and there is nothing that can be done about it.

Horrible, nasty, sickening odor comes into the cab from the heating and cooling vents. It made my wife and kids nauseous, and feeling poor in general with burning in the eyes and throat. My throat and eyes were burning. Called the dealer where I purchased it and at first I got treated like I was in need of mental help, but when I told them I had looked it up on the internet, and others were complaining about it, they said they would get back to me. When the dealership called me back, they stated there was indeed something called a STAR report from Chrysler, regarding a supposed repair. I took the truck to 2 different Dodge dealerships and had the so called repairs done that were recommended in the STAR report, and it is still as bad as ever. My wife and kids refuse to ride in this truck for fear of becoming ill, and with no knowledge of the possible long term effects of being exposed to this horrible smell, so am I.
