The contact owns a 2014 Ram 1500. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 18V332000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL) 19V347000 (LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES), and 17V302000 (AIR BAGS); however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The contact stated that after driving 5 MPH, the vehicle was parked. The contact then attempted to restart the vehicle however, the vehicle failed to restart. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact attempted to replace the battery and restart the vehicle; however, the vehicle failed to restart. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed with an ABS locking system failure. The vehicle remained at the dealer for a year awaiting the repair because parts were still not available. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 175,000. Parts distribution disconnect.

The vehicle was taken to pomoco Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of newport news (12629 jefferson ave, newport news, va 23602) where the recall repair was performed. After receiving the recall repair, the tailgate latch independently opened on two separate occasions while driving at various speeds, without warning. The vehicle was taken back to the same dealer and he was informed that he had to pay out of pocket for the repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 34,000.

The contact called Bonneville and son Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram at 877-812-7782 (located at 625 hooksett rd, manchester, nh 03104) and was informed that the parts were not available. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and was not able to confirm when the parts were to become available. The contact stated that the coolant level of the vehicle was low. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available for 19V757000 (engine and engine cooling). Parts distribution disconnect for 19V347000 (latches/locks/linkages).

The contact owns a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500. The contact stated that there was hesitation when changing gears from park to reverse or drive. The contact had to change multiple gears to get the transmission to switch over from park to drive or reverse. The reverse sensor and the drive sensor light illuminated sporadically. The contact was able to use the gear shifter knob to ensure that the vehicle was in the correct gear. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where it was diagnosed that the transmission needed to be repaired but the part needed to make the repair was on back order.
