problem #2

Feb 082017

1500 SLT 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 38,400 miles

This issue shows up like 2 weeks ago.The problem is like intermittent and annoying. The fuel gauge is crazy. For the other hand I not going to spend a simple penny on the freaking dealer of Dodge.I just Ordered a new Oem pump on Ebay. I contacted the closest dealer but was a waste off time charging me 161$ for a stupid diagnosis . "Chrysler never had heard about this problem". Also i have a transmission bump after y released the brake pedal. This is my first and last Ram i ever bought . Don't buy this thing.

1500 Express 5.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 54,237 miles

p0463 fuel level sensor circuit high input

This seems to be a common issue with 2014 Ram Trucks. The fuel sending unit will go out send an EML Code and the fuel gauge will drop down to empty even though there is a full tank. Dodge wants to charge me $400 to replace this, since I am almost 20k miles outside of the OEM warranty. I have seen where trucks are affected from 11k miles to mine at 54k miles. If traveling long distances this can be a serious issue and should be considered a safety recall by the NTSA.
