I was never big on Dodge products but really like the new 2014 Ram. We bought the black express edition right off the showroom floor. I'm not happy to say that just 2 weeks and 735 miles in, the dash lights (turn signals,speedometer,odometer,gear) went black at 3am so this was pretty uncool.

The stereo and center stack was fine, steering wheel and doors also. After the truck was turned off and key was removed, everything worked fine the next time I got in it. They say it is a modular unit and will have to be ordered. I should have this replaced in a few days and hope this takes care of the issue.

I was happy to see that the problem came back 4 days later when I was starting the truck to take it to the dealer. The service manager got to see the problem first hand. I really love the ride and power and looks so I hope this will be a one time complaint.

Update from Oct 15, 2013: Had new unit put in and was told at that time that the keys needed to be reprogramed. We did not have the spare key with us so that was a third trip. Our salesman is a great guy and filled our tank when we returned to have the spare key programed. Unfortunately at 1333 miles the problem has returned ! This does not sit well with me. My wife has left 2 messages with the Service manager and we have not heard back from him yet. 4 days now ! I sure hope they figure the issue out this time ! This is a 25 mile trip one way !
