I was driving down the road, fortunately in my neighborhood when I saw a brief alert regarding my trailer towing system before the truck completely shut down in the middle of the road. I was unable to restart and had to call a tow service. My mechanic stated it was a crank position sensor failure according to his diagnostic computer

The inline fuel pump system is incorrect it has electrical inside the fuel tank there should be a screen at the neck of the fuel tank then there should be a screen at the bottom of the fuel tank by the outlet at the bottom of fuel tank then a hose to the fuel filter then there should be a fuel pump then the lines fuel lines to engine! Because the electrical is in the tank it will cause a fire! To fix the problem with the float to keep the electrical out of the fuel tank on the fuel gauge you should put the electrical lines at the top of the tank with a rheostat then have the float turn as it increases or decreases which turns the rheostat and sends the signal 2 the Gauge so all of the electrical is out of the tank this is the safest!

While driving at approx. 50 mph the engine suddenly shut off. The warning light flashed service 4WD, check engine light, and many other warning lights on the dash and electronic selector. After stopping, without power brakes working, the truck would not start. I allowed to truck to sit, with flashers on, for about 10 minutes. After the 10 minute wait, the truck started and seem to drive normally. I went directly to local dealership (sharp Dodge in pulaski, tn). The technician wasn't able to find a "code" related to the shut down. They only found indications of "voltage overload" not further defined. This occurred on April 8, 2021 on hwy 31A, approx 0600 hrs near the city of pulaski, tn 38478. Note:. the engine /long block was replaced by the same dealer AT172000 and under mopar warranty due to internal engine issues involving #5 lifter and damaged cam shaft.

The contact owns a 2014 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving approximately 30 mph, the battery light suddenly displayed before electrical systems in the vehicle failed, including the power steering, power brakes, the dashboard instrumentation, and electric windows. The vehicle was immediately driven to the local dealer bob poynter Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat of seymour located at 1873 E tipton St, seymour, in 47274 who diagnosed that a fuse in the alternator had failed. The fuse was replaced and the system was reprogrammed and the failure was remedied. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 41,000.

Saturday evening we were existing the interstate when I started to smell what seemed like a chemical smell. We could not figure out where this smell was coming from. As we proceeded down the highway, I started to get warm so I turned off the heated seat. When we arrived at our destination, I could still smell the something out of the normal. I begin to look all around. Smelling my jacket to make sure the kids didn't spill something on it, or just try to find where the smell was coming from. Finally, I turn around and realize my heated seat had caught fire. Thank god I had turned the seat warmer off moments earlier. Lucky for me, the truck did not go up in flames. The seat has a deep burn hole and my jacket (which was between the seat and myself) has 2 burns in it. I was unharmed but if it wasn't for me turning the seat off, I'm afraid of what may have happened. Our truck is still under an extended warranty and is now at the dealership to be repaired. However, I asked the dealership who is to report such things? they expressed that they were not sure, but they do not. We have an open case now through the dealership and waiting for further instructions.

I got into my truck to leave from work. When I started the engine, the "battery voltage low" warning instantly came on. Just a few seconds later, the "service power steering" warning came on as well. At this time the radio shut off. My truck then said: "battery saver mode" was on, and the radio came back on. The power steering was completely off/not working, so I was very grateful that I was sitting in the parking lot and not driving while this happened as it could've caused a major accident! I limped along slowly with my flashers on, to an autozone to have them check my battery. They were very busy, so even though my battery was less than a year old, I simply bought a brand new one to see if it fixed the problem with both the battery (which should not have been a problem at all) but more importantly, the power steering failure. Thankfully, I had a nearly straight shot to get home, but it was very hard to steer the truck, and I'm a big guy, so for the average person, they would have most likely had to call a tow truck. I have started it up every day since then which was 5 days ago, and I have absolutely no power steering at all. This should never happen on a vehicle...never. And I had zero problems with it, so why would it just fail for no apparent reason? there must be a recall for this; please advise. Thank you.

My truck continues to light up saying that the fuel cap is loose. I believe that there was a former recall about a crack and engine coolant gas getting into the system, and this was never fixed properly. Also, the airbag light continues to come on, and there was a former recall about that and it was never fixed. These are all while stationary.

The air suspension has not been working properly for well over a year now it intermittently goes down to the bump stops and could cause a serious injury to persons in other vehicles plus my own because any bump that your hit cause the truck to bounced losing traction with the road and that even means when slowing down the traction control ABS bricks in and cause the wheels to not lock up, , also the truck can't hold the load if and in the bed cussing unsafe handling around corners and threw traffic

My truck has been cutting off while driving on the road. Took it to landmark Dodge in morrow, ga. They did two repairs to fix the problem, and charge me on the 8/31/20 first repair $968.81. It cut off at a couple miles from the shop. Second repairs on the 9/11/20. Pick it up on the 9/14/20. Those repair cost me $1830.20. Again it cut off a couple miles down the road while driving. I had complain before about the faulty totally integrated power module. Dodge had warranty the part. But since then I have replace it four or five times. I paid for the repairs that supposed to fix it. But they are not listening to me. I pull a trailer on the highway, and if the truck cut off, it will put me at risk and who ever driving around me. The dealership had my truck from 8/20/20 to 9/14/20 with same problem that I brought it in for. Now I fill like the truck is a lemon.

Ram dash light problems I have a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 I am currently experiencing problems with the dash lights won't turn off. On the morning the battery was dead. I jumped. All other lights are off (headlights/interior/etc) except the dash and the light that shows it's in park and disconnected the negative terminal so I don't drain the battery.

My air conditioning stopped working, I took it to a dealer and they fixed a valve and hose leak. Ac still didn't work. They replaced the evaporator. On the way home from that, I saw my check engine light and anti skid light were on. The dealer fixed that, the next day, I discovered my panel display (for radio and rear camera view) was blank, not working. I took the truck back in and was told by service rep it might be $800 fix or he'd tried to get warranty which expired to cover it for $50.I have called the service dept at dealer twice without a return call since then. I have checked on-line and found similar complaints. This occurred when dealer was working on it, truck was stationary and only traveled to and from dealer from/to home.

When I stopped the truck, I accidentally turned off the key before putting the transmission in park. I saw smoke come from under the dashboard and smelled electrical wires burning. The transmission did go into park. After that the truck started fine, the only noticeable thing is the cruise control no longer works. Fortunately no actual vehicle fire resulted from the incident. I am taking the truck in for service, the dealer had never heard of the issue, but will look into it.

My door locks sometimes work & sometimes do not. This occurs either by the fob or the physical door lock. It sometimes affects 1 door & other times multiple doors but never the tailgate. I've read through multiple forums, this is caused by the body control module.
