We own a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500, While pulling into my driveway yesterday , I had my foot on the brake and was reaching out to place her in park , the truck suddenly accelerated and I went through my garage door. I am 100% sure my foot was on the brake. I keep repeatedly slamming on the brake, till she finally stopped. I had my two kids in the truck with me and thank God no one was hurt. However in the past week, I have noticed that the truck has picked up speed when it shouldn’t have. The more I researched, trying to figure out what happened, I am learning this has happened to more people. I called the dodge dealer, I pretty much got dismissed and said it was nothing that could have caused this and to call my insurance company, and want me to drive over two hours to have the truck seen by the dealer, I would hate to have it happen and I end up taking someone’s life or lose my own. We just had the truck to dodge within the last two months for recalls. I'm really upset how dodge is handling this, I love driving my truck and now I am scared too.

The Dodge Ram 1500 accelerates uncontrolled, the engines revs up to 5700 RPMS when your not even touching the gas pedal. Has been in the Dealers shop 3 times for the same problem and they can't seem to fix it. They call and say it's fixed, go to pick it up, and don't even make it home when I have to turn around and take it back to them. Doing the same thing.

The dealer is doing everything they know to do and still can't figure out the problem. The Dodge/Chrysler Corporation has been no help what so ever. This vehicle far surpasses the requirements for the lemon law in Alabama. This is not the first problem that we have had with this vehicle. Several sensor have had to be replaced.. The electronics are apparently bad.
