I cannot believe these headlights pass the safety requirements from the national safety board. These headlights are so dim it is unsafe to drive this $40000 truck at night. I bought the truck to drive 60 miles round trip to work, but I go to work at dark and come home from work in the dark, needless to say I can't sell my old truck because I have to drive it to work because of these headlights on this $40000 daytime only truck.
The dealer just said to buy a better bulb to put in, that does not work. It has to be the design of these lights or something electrical to cause these lights to be so dim. I don't know what to do but I might just take a beating and trade this day time only truck off. What a shame, so far I love the truck other than the piss poor unsafe headlights. I hope something really bad doesn't have to happen before Dodge does something about this problem that they do know about.
After researching this I see this has been a problem with many complaints for years. Come on Dodge, WAKE UP PLEASE, before someone gets hurt or worst killed over this issue.
