This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Ram dealer.
My truck has an annoying vibration that I feel between 50 - 120 kilometers. I purchase a brand new Ram Laramie 2014. As soon as I left the dealership I felt the vibration the truck had less than 100 kilometers. The day after picking up my truck I return to the dealership telling the salesman that it had a vibration similar to an unbalance tire. He walked me over to the service department, I made an appointment to have the tires balanced a few days later. This did not fix the problem. The tires were re-balance, they tried other tires and rims from another Ram 1500. Then replaced the drive side drive shaft. this did not fix the problem. I took a test drive with the GM of the dealership. He did feel the vibration. Left the truck with them, they replaced the torque converter replaced. This did not fix the problem.
I contacted Goodyear Tire Canada, because I thought it was a tire problem, they sent me to one of their shops and they rebalanced the tires saying there was too many weights and the tire are wearing unevenly. The vibration was more intense after leaving the Goodyear shop. So intense that I felt the truck was unsafe to drive on the highway.
I returned to the dealership, letting them know about my trip to the Goodyear shop. And that I felt the truck unsafe to drive on the highway. I left the truck with them on Oct. 1. The service advisor (SA) told me they had spoke with a engineer in Windsor ON and the engineer suggested using a vibration tool on the truck. The SA told me that the vibration tool would be there the next day (Oct.3). Over the next 2 weeks the SA would tell me that they are about to test with the vibration tool. I would call the SA to get an update, SA would then tell me that they did not have the vibration tool yet but they had done other work. They had replaced an axle, and replace my tires with used tires and ask me to test the truck. I did, the vibration was much better, but was still there between 50 - 120 kilometers.
On Oct. 23 the SA called me to pickup my truck that it was fixed. I asked if the vibration tool found the problem? The SA said no that the tool has not arrived yet. The service department and did road force balance. The service manager and general manager had test driven the truck and were happy with the results. I took the truck for a test drive on the highway. The annoying vibration is still happening.
So my brand new Ram 1500 Laramie has had the following: Tires balance - half a dozen times Wheel alignment - couple of times Replaced - driver side drive, torque converter, axle
Any help would be appreciated.

Bought this truck with only twenty miles on it. It has had a bad vibration from day one. Hoyte Dodge has look at this a half dozen times and can not seem to get it fix. They say it is a known issue and don't know how to fix it. This has to be one of the worst trucks I have ever owned.
