The contact owns a 2014 Ram 1500 equipped with Firestone destination A/T tires, size: P275/60R20 (na). While driving approximately 40 mph, the front driver side tire sidewall cracked and separated at the seam, extending up to the wheel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the cause of the failure was undetermined. The tire was not replaced. The tire was not the original equipment. The VIN and vehicle and tire failure mileage were unknown.
