The contact owns a 2015 Ram 1500. The contact stated that the rear liftgate independently opened while the vehicle was being driven approximately 65 mph. The failure occurred without warning. The dealer (james hodge motor, 5100 southeast loop 286, paris, Texas) was contacted, but the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not repaired and the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 18,000.
