Was on the on ramp coming back from Northern Wisconsin passing a semi when the accelerator stuck to the floor. I let off the accelerator at 40 MPH and the truck continued to speed up until it hit 80 MPH, at which time the gas pedal released and a service throttle body notice came up on the dash. My Truck (brand new) with approximately 1250 miles at the time of the incident still sits at the dealer waiting for them to find the cause of the code it threw out. (4 Days so far) However they tried to blame the floor mats as if I'm some idiot that doesn't check his blinker fluid. When the service throttle body message came on and released the gas pedal it must've sent an engine code to the floor mat to get the f*** out of the way!!!! Completely unsafe!!! If my other half was driving the truck with the kids in it I'd be talking to a lawyer instead of griping here cause she would've panicked and probably totaled the vehicle. This is a serious issue that should be taken and looked at seriously before someone dies. Buyer Beware!!!!
