The contact owns a 2015 Ram 1500. The contact stated while replacing the front tires, the contact discovered that the front fuel tank bracket was rusted, and the bracket had detached. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where an inspection was completed; however, the contact received no response after the completed inspection. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The contact was advised that the repair was not covered under a recall. The failure mileage was approximately 63,000.

The contact owns a 2015 Ram 1500. The contact stated while the vehicle was receiving a State Inspection, the mechanic diagnosed the vehicle with a small fuel leak, due to a faulty fuel cap. The fuel cap was replaced, and the failure was remedied. The contact stated that the failure eventually reoccurred, and the fuel cap was replaced a second time. The manufacturer and local dealer were not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 80,000.

The contact owns a 2015 Ram 1500. The contact stated that after refueling, the fuel gauge displayed empty. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact's husband took the vehicle to Auto Zone, where the battery was replaced, and the technician determined that the fuel pump also needed to be replaced. The vehicle was then taken to an independent mechanic, who replaced the fuel pump and fuel sensor; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to take the vehicle to the dealer for a diagnostic test. The failure mileage was approximately 41,000.
