The contact owns a 2016 Ram 1500. The contact stated that at start-up, the fuel gauge indicated that the fuel tank was on empty, even though the fuel tank was full. Additionally, the check engine warning light remained illuminated, with the message -??Fuel Sensor Failure-?? displayed. The local dealer was not contacted; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
