My truck has been in for the same problem 4 times. I first became aware of the problem because the heat would not work, the service dept. checked it out and said the coolant was low. They added coolant and sent me down the road. Five days later the same thing happened and I could smell coolant in the exhaust and the coolant temp. And oil temps were very high. Took the truck back to the dealership, after 3 days of investigation they determined the EGR cooler was leaking, they replaced it, 2 more days. I still continued to smell the coolant in the exhaust even after the repair. Some time past and the coolant went down again, I was alerted by no heat. Took it in and they topped off the coolant and gave me extra to carry with me. 1 week later I noticed coolant dripping from the radiator area, took it back, now they say it is a head gasket, cracked head or cracked block! I am currently looking for a new truck.

I constantly have to add expensive engine coolant to my truck at least one gallon a week and FCA still has no fix for the recall. It has led To multiple overheating issues due to egr cooler and I am afraid it is causing more damage To the engine
