Have been dealing with the ticking sound for a while. Was eventually planning on replacing rockers of they were the problem. However as I was driving down the highway my truck started to shudder and hesitate when going up hills. Then the check engine light started to flash. I hooked up my OBDII reader and had a P0306 pending code or cylinder 6 misfire. Had researched and found out older pentastar engines had issues and was supposedly fixed in newer engines. Mine is in a 2016 truck, these were supposed to be fixed in 2014 or later models. Will see if my vehicle is part of an extended warranty they have or not.
Update from Oct 21, 2021: Update I did find out it wasn't the rockers. So it was actually one if the coil pack for cylinder number 6 causing the misfire. Engine still has a tick so I am looking into that.

Just joining the countless others who have had an issue with the hemi tick, they've had several years to repair this but blatantly ignore the problem. Would just like to be able to have a reasonable and effective solution to the problem.
