1500 Big Horn 5.7L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 64,700 miles

Noticed the dreaded exhaust leak and one form of hemi-tick this morning, passenger side. Sealed up after 30miles of highway driving leading me to believe I have some snapped manifold bolts... 8 months after the warranty expired... it's almost like they designed them to "at least" last as long as the warranty before approving the design for sale.

1500 Big Horn

  • Automatic transmission
  • 65,000 miles

After numerous emails with Dodge Cares and them asking me why I didn't get it repaired at a authorized facility and us explaining because the dealership said it was not in warranty but the Dodge Cares rep states originally in an email that it was under an active warranty. They send another last and final email saying it wasn't in warranty. I use this truck to deliver meals on wheels 3 days a week and the last thing I can imagine is having a RAM have to have new bolts installed after 65k miles. I will never buy another RAM.

Took this issue to the dealer for the standard "hemi-tic".
