The contact owns a 2017 Ram 1500. The contact stated that the tailgate failed to stay up and kept coming down without warning. The dealer (riverland Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, 601 belle terre blvd, laplace, la 70068, (985) 466-1068) was notified before a warranty campaign was provided. The dealer replaced the tailgate actuator. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was not available.
