5 year old truck with a leaking head gasket with only 63,000 miles. I did get the truck at 12,000 miles one year ago which I put mostly highway miles. Powertrain warranty expired at 60,000 miles. Very disappointed. Handful of people I know who are mechanics said this is the first time they seen head gasket issues with the hemi. Planning on keeping this and getting the work done, hopefully will last until 200,000+ miles. Skeptical on the transmission life though. I'm wondering if during the manufacturing stage if they did not torque the heads properly since it is coming from one bolt, the exhaust manifold bolts are famous with being broke in the hemis.
During replacing the head gasket will be also replacing the water pump, and the cam lifters exhaust manifold/bolts.
