problem #1

Dec 152019

1500 Tradesman 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 7,500 miles

I bought the truck in November 2019. It had 7,500 miles on the odometer and during a trip across the state started noticing the odd problem of feeling like I was driving over rumble bumps every 4-9 seconds on the highway. Ultimately it was doing that same thing no matter the road or speed.

I looked it up and realized it was the torque converter so I called my mechanic (it was a salvage from a very minor accident).

$3000 later things were peachy after that but it took a 200 mile tow and about 2.5 weeks at the shop.
