The AC was stuck on hot and would not defrost. Dealership said the blend actuator door needed replacement. Unfortunately this cost is 1700. In addition to this, the fuel line or gas tank keep clicking and stopping when trying to fill. This has been intermittent since we purchased vehicle. In addition, our infotainment center was hacked, someone was changing our settings repeatedly. Dealership refused to fix

I have a 2019 Ram Laramie and one of the power side view mirrors no longer works as it should because the plastic gear or the motor is broken. When you google the problem it seems to be a very common problem among RAM truck owners is typically occurs because the plastic (instead of metal) gears fail. This issue is a health and safety concern for the driver of these trucks with a broken mirror, other drivers on the road, and pedestrians. When the plastic gear breaks the mirrors so not stay in place as they should so when you go to look in the mirror the view/angle might be off (i.e. the mirror won't show the view that you set it to show because the mirror moves around due to the broken gear). There should be a recall on plastic gears to replace them with a metal gears.

I was driving my 2019 Ram 1500 Bighorn (60,000 miles) when the wiper blades came on and every possible warning light and error message came on in my truck. I was able to pull over before i crashed. The wipers and warnings lights would not stop, and after that the vehicle shut off by itself. Before this incident the car was taken to University Dodge in Plantation, Fl with a concern of a couple of lights on in my dashboard and to complete a recall, car was given to me after a week and they said everything was fine and the computer was re-setted. A week after, this nightmare happened... and once again I took the car to the dealer, this time they told me that they had to replace the battery and one of the sensors. Today i picked the vehicle and after 20 minutes driving, all the lights came on again and this time the car don't shut off but lost power in the middle of the road putting in risk my life and the car drivers life next to me. After 3 visits to the Dealer this issue is not being resolved.

My windshield wiper speed slowed down then stopped in the middle of my windshield and stop working completely when it was raining. I had to pull over and wait for the rain to stop so I wouldn't cause an accident. I know there is a recall on the ram 2500 and 3500 hundred. I was wondering if the recall expanded to 1500 built around the same time?

Rear Window seal and Fin on top of roof failed causing large amounts of water to enter the car cabin flooding the floor around electrical components under passenger seat area and elsewhere, Floor was sopping wet many times before I found out there was a rear window problem.I fear since I live in tropical Florida Mold may be growing under my carpet, plus we had a bad smell like nasty old cigars in the cabin when we get in, No one smokes in my family..I took it to the dealer for repair who stated yes we know about it, it is a common problem and we can fix it but it is not covered under warranty, I paid $183.84 to have the dealer repair my leaks as I was concerned about a fire from electrical wires shorting out. After they fixed it there repair causes water to flow from the dirty roof down the back of my rear tinted window causing me a loss of visibility out my rear window unless i climb in the back of my truck bed and clean my rear window regularly. Which is very hard for a [XXX] man who has had a spinal fusion to do.Because this repair they made fills in the water channel that moves the water to the sides of the windows and off the truck sides, it now flows like niagara falls over the back of my window from the top of the roof causing a constant dirty window that blocks my vision on a tinted window worse than a normal window and is a safety hazard. The window was designed to channel the water to the sides to prevent that problem and keep the window clean and clear. it is very irritating to check your rear window when backing or looking to see if anyone's back there where the camera does not show and as your driving down the [XXX] and trying to change lanes at 70mph with a filthy tinted rear window its dangerous. I have not been reimbursed from the Manufacturer for the dealer repairs to my window after i sent in required documents to be reimbursed as stated in there letter to me that also extends my warranty on this. its been 9 months now INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U

The persistent water leakage issue in my vehicle, which has been ongoing for an extended period. Water pooling under the left rear seat, even seeping beneath the mat. This not only poses a serious inconvenience but also raises concerns about potential damage to the vehicle's interior and electronic components. Please see attached document from the dealership.

The sun visor fails to stay secure and falls from its mounting post - obscuring vision. My driver side did this while under warranty, and was replaced. The passenger side is now falling. Online forums indicated it is a common problem others have as well. Other posts on such forums indicate that dealers know this is an issue and have replaced them out of warranty because of this. I called and reported this to the dealer that did the first repair (covered by warranty) and they said it is no longer covered. I have not had my vehicle inspected for the failure. There are no warning lights or sensors indicating the failure.

Merging onto highway at approximately 65 MPH, the sun was bright and I moved my driver-??s side sun visor down and started to move it to block the sun from the driver window. The visor fell off and hung by only the electric wires. The visor hung blocking my forward vision as I merged at high speed I had to take my hand off the steering wheel and physically hold the visor out of my field of vision until I could safely exit the highway and park on the shoulder of I-5. I was able to push the visor support arm/rod back into the ceiling and hook the end back to the visor snap hold. The passenger side visor broke in the same fashion last summer and repeatedly falls out if the passenger attempts or use the visor. I-??ve check web sites and see many others reporting the same safety issue. Very fragile plastic part.

Trim cracks around rear window, allowing rain to come inside while driving, this creates a mist that is detrimental to driver safety. Water gets onto inside of windshield and in the drivers face. Needs to be addressed before someone gets blinded by the rain mist and unable to see safely.

2 Issues to go over: 1.) The rear defroster. My defroster has failed on me twice. First time I had it repaired, second time they were going to charge me the same amount for the same failure. I had it repaired by my local auto shop, So it has not been touched by a manufacturer technitian. No warning to it at all. I only noticed it once I had ice covering my rear window and could not defrost, elimitating any center rear view completetly. 2.) The Main issue is the side view mirrors. They are automatic mirrors with a button on the interior to open and close them. From what the Dealership has told me is they use plastic gears to control the mirror operation. And they tend to get stripped out, this happens so often that there is a 6 month backorder on these parts. The safety issue arrises when I am driving down the road at either highway speeds or if there are large wind gusts, my side view mirror will close on me, because those gears holding the mirror in place has stripped so it just closes due to wind pressure. I have to stop the car, get our and reposition the mirror or else I have no visibility from the side view mirror that closes. This is a massive safety risk as I am unable to see to the left OR right of me if my mirror collapses shut. And the fact that this happens to so many vehicle that I cant get the parts to fix it for at least six months in unnacceptable.

Our defrost system on windshield is only working on one side. First things first, the Vin number and the picture listed does not match our vehicle so I will be calling the the safety line to get it fixed. When googling the Dodge recalls. It popped up as a recall but I guess it-??s not on our vin number dodge yet? Then the truck automatically started smelling like antifreeze. When driving it sometimes loses power to the gas pedal and starts to slow down! The back windshield started leaking the same day as the defrost malfunction. There is no dash signal when there-??s low air in tires-??.. And depending on speed of the dodge started making like dying whale moaning sounds. When turning the truck off, it stops for a minute, but then it starts again. This truck only has 50,000 miles on it and it should not be tearing up this quick as it is. When pushing the push start on and off, it always goes into a cc mode instead of turning off Last but not least the gas tank is malfunctioning when you put the gas pump into the tank I think the gas is leaking out and you have to constantly reset the gas pump handle. Also, the tailgate is getting stuck and you cannot open it. I-??m afraid it-??s going to come open when driving. Thank you for your time. Hope to speak with you soon. My drivers side sun visor is broke and keeps falling down in front of me while I'm driving causing a serious safety hazard. This is an event that happened, My Wife and 2 other friends are driving from phoenix to LA. the sun visor has broke at the pivoting point in which it holds up the main weight of the visor (not the spot where you would click it into) as we are driving the visor randomly comes out and falls down enough to block my vision and startle me only thing hold it up is the wire connection. this keeps happening which makes it very difficult to drive. in addition I'm now unable to block the sun from blazing into my eyes while driving at sunset and sunrise. I'm also filing this complaint because while searching online for a fix I noticed that there are a lot of people having the same issue so I'm trying to bring awarness to the problem

Over time, the folding mechanism of both side mirrors have deteriorated to the point that the mirrors move with wind resistance while driving. The side mirrors need to be constantly adjusted while driving to maintain visibility. This is a widely recognized issue among Ram 1500 owners.

3 things. 1 gas pedal light pressure causes the engine to rev up to 1000 rpm then back to 750 on flat surface speed goes from 4 mph to 14 mph. 2 ac issue when on floor or vents when it is raining or sun is not beaming on windshield it fogs up like defrost is on cold when not in defrost mode, causes visibility issue. 3 power mirror doesn't open or doesn't lock in position causing mirror to fold back in.

Known manufacturer defect in rear sliding window plastic frame that cracks and allows water to enter into the rear cab of the truck. This leads to wet seats, headliner and carpet. If undetected or not corrected this could lead to mold growing behind the rear seats. This also is causing rust on the bolts that hold the rear seat in place. It also affects the various electronic controls that reside behind the rear seat. If those controls short out and sizable the truck while it is traveling down the highway this could lead to a fatality. The FCA is NOT repairing is issue after the 3 year/36,000 mile warranty or if the vehicle was purchased (and registered in Canada and then resold in the US).
