I purchased a 2019 Ram 1500 in November and have since been unable to pass state inspection due to several issues with the vehicle. I have contacted the dealership three times to request repairs, but they have repeatedly told me there is nothing they can do. I reached out to the Massachusetts Lemon Law, and they advised me to contact a lawyer immediately. The problems preventing my vehicle from passing inspection include excessive play in the bushing of the right front upper control arm, excessive play in the ball joint of the right front lower control arm, issues with both front struts, and excessive wear on the stub shafts of the front differential assembly, necessitating a front axle replacement since a kit is unavailable. Additionally, both front axle shafts need attention, and I require four-wheel spacers to prevent tire rubbing, as well as four fender flares. Within the first 30 days of purchase, I informed the dealership about the truck's tires not passing inspection. They acknowledged the tires were worn but claimed they still passed. When alignment issues arose due to bad ball joints, the dealership insisted the ball joints were up to spec. Unsatisfied, I sought a second opinion from another Dodge dealership, which confirmed the ball joints were faulty and identified additional issues with the front axles, struts, control arms, and front differential assembly. I provided this information to the original dealership, seeking repairs, but was again told there was nothing they could do. I have documented all my communications with the dealership and their responses. At the time of purchase, I received a powertrain warranty through Zurich that covers the front axles and front differential assembly. However, the dealership did not provide an inspection report or certification of the vehicle's condition when I bought it.

Had my truck in for service and they found a cracked right front CV axle and carrier joint. I was told that this is a safety issue and could lead to uncontrolled steering, but then was told by two different dealers that the part is on national backorder with no time frame for availability. I was also told that this is a common issue and other RAM1500 models have had warranty repair or recalls, but none seems to be available for mine.

Air suspension failure on front drivers side 2019 Ram Rebel. When it was below freezing outside, a warning message flashed across the screen saying service air suspension immediately. Went home and got up later to drive again and the warning message was gone, never to be seen again. Fast forward and it was extremely hot out. Noticed the truck was leaning to one side. Jumped in, started it, and the height recentered. Got out and could hear an active air leak. Drove for a while and would always raise and lower as normal. Issue seemed to go away. Finally, it came back. When trying to change the heights, a message flashed that said -??Air suspension system overheating. Ride height safe to maintain.-?? Sent to dealership. Took 2 days to find issue. Mopar gave oddly specific instructions to determine if that was the issue. Air suspension replacement cost $2500 and not covered under any warranty. Took almost 2 months to get the part. National shortage of the part. Was told driving to vehicle was a safety concern because if the motor in the suspension failed, it could cause the vehicle to rapidly fall, causing loss of control and airbag deployment. Ram refused to call back when trying to get answers about what was going on. Dealer contacted other dealerships and parts places across the country to no avail. When the part came unexpectedly and I picked up the vehicle, I was informed that another 2019 Ram Rebel was there for rear air suspension failure with the same issue of inability to locate a part.

My 2019 Ram 1500 is experiencing the exact same issues listed in recall 75B but my VIN number is not part of the recall. The symptoms that it is having are the exact ones listed in your recall from 9/11/24 concerning the ABS and stability control issues. It is very disheartening that there wasn-??t a better investigation done on this issue either on your end or on Ram-??s end. I-??m sure there are plenty more vehicles that are affected that aren-??t in this recall. My truck did it as I was going highway speeds (70mph) and the abs and stability control issues also disengaged my speed control as I was on the highway. It was a good thing there wasn-??t another car behind me or I would have been struck from behind.

Chime comes on. Then displays parksense temporarily unavailable. Then a few seconds later another chime and a display come on and reads service shifter. And if my cruise control is on the vehicle disengages the cruise control. When this happens occasionally will disengage the transmission and I will have to pull over and shut the vehicle off then start it back off. Then it will let me put it back in gear. When the vehicle will also start up sometimes and the shifter will not let me put it in gear. Then I-??ll shut it down. Restart it then it will be ok. The vehicle has been in Ram service department 4 times. Twice in Nevada and twice in California. They haven-??t been able to rectify the problem. The first time in the shop was back in May. The last time was in August. And it-??s going back in Sept 10 th.

The steering rack overheated causing the vehicle to lock up while being driven. Looked issue up online and see this has been an issue and recall for other Ram pickups but Dodge Ram says my truck not covered under recall. I do not drive aggressive nor has this vehicle been used to haul anything heavy. It has 81000 miles on it. Dodge dealership says the electric power steering module has a fault and needs to be replaced but says the module can't be replaced without replacing full rack and pinion steering as well as module for $3000.

This truck as well as multiple others I have seen complaints on multiple dodge ram forums where something is causing the battery to die then the stability control light comes on and the the truck will not change gears until the battery is completely disconnected to "reset" the computer and then it's like the battery never died. It works great with no issues for months then out of nowhere the exact same issue happens once again. We have spent thousands of dollars fixing this issue to no avail just keep replacing parts that apparently aren't the fix. So far we have replaced the torque converter, the battery as well as paying for multiple diagnostics to which they keep replacing the battery saying that is the issue but obviously it can't be the battery when it's getting replaced over and over SOMETHING is causing this draw making the battery die. PLEASE ADDRESS THIS AND ISSUE A RECALL SO WE AREN'T LEFT WITH THIS HORRIBLE TASTE IN OUR MOUTHS AND DON'T NOT WANT TO PURCHASE ANY MORE DODGE VEHICLES BECAUSE WE OWN ALL DODGE VEHICLES BUT NEVER HAVE WE HAD SUCH PROBLEMS AS WITH THIS 2019 RAM 1500 VIN [XXX] BECAUSE THIS IS BREAKING US. The 4wd has never worked in my 2019 Ram 1500. I bought the truck in November of the same year, I tried to engage the 4wd with the snow that year and it would not engage. Notification showed service 4wd, I took it to a ram dealer in South Carolina where I worked out of town they had it for two days and they informed me they didn't know what was wrong with it. I then took it to the dealer at home they kept it overnight and installed a new actuator. It engaged the first time and then back to service 4wd. This time was different it stayed in neutral, I turned the emergency brake on and turned the truck off. The dial tried to return to park but couldn't so with the truck off and Ebrake applied I had to have a tow service pick it up and take to the dealer. I then scheduled an appointment with the dealer I purchased it from and they said they updated the software and it was working. I tried to engage the 4wd in the parking lot and it still showed service light. They kept the truck for two days and said a gear in the transfer case was bad and I had to pay $1,000 to fix it. But the same year truck has a recall for the same issue I'm having. I declined the service due to an active recall. About a week later the power steering wasn't working right. When I was doing highway speed and would turn left it was like I had to fight it back into the lane, but only while turning left. I then took it to a mechanic and he said the truck was clearly over steering from the wear marks and that the R&P looked good no leaks but it may be the rack. So I looked at the active recalls and sure enough there is an active recall for the same year truck for electronic power steering and the transfer case but when entering my VIN it says my truck has zero recalls? I really hope something can be done I've lost my job due to cardiac arrest and used my 401k to pay the lein off just to have all these issues. Thank you

I am not sure if this issue is electrical or suspension or even computer related. My car battery was dead after just driving it a few hours ago. I came out and heard a noise coming from the truck that sounded strange coming from under the hood, like something was trying to start or like a long delayed switching sound or airpump (I'm not sure). When starting the vehicle it only clicked and the battery showed low, the air suspension, airbags, safety systems and a lot more all lit up on my dashboard. I do have a video but on my cell phone not the computer from which I am writing this and it is too large of a file size for here. I placed the batter on a charger and it took a very long time to get enough of a charge but still wouldn't start. I had to get mad and keep pressing the start button and letting go on and off and on and off before it eventually started. I have not experienced this issue since but it was concerning to me that all the suspension, leveling, safety, headlight directional systems, etc. had errors flashing or cycling on the dash to be serviced and it killed my battery by having components activating audibly so and just disappear.

On October 27, 2021 I was pulling into a parking lot at extremely low speed and upon turning heard a pop noise and felt a minimal jolt in the steering wheel. Letter in the day as I was leaving I turned right to come home and had the same experience. The next morning same thing at slow speed turning either left or right. Made appointment at dealer for first available date which was November 1, 2021. I received this from the dealer service team: Concern Critical Customer States There-??S A Popping In The Front End Wall Turning Issue TEST DRIVE AND INSPECT FRONT SUSPENSION - PASSENGER FRONT SWAY BAR LINK WORN/SEPARATED DRIVER SIDE ALSO SHOWING SIGNS OF FAILING NEEDS BOTH REPLACED AND ALIGHNMENT Recommendation REPLACE SWAY BAR LINKS AND ALIGNMENT with an almost $1,300 repair bill. I was told this was not covered by my 5 year 60,000 mile warranty and that parts were back ordered and expected not until 11/24/2021. I started researching and located multiple forums that stated this was a known issue. I also spoke to a mechanic that stated this was not normal on a vehicle with under 60,000 miles. I was also told that if it separates it could cause an accident and possibly result in injury or death. My question is why has a recall not been made with this being a known issue. This vehicle I purchased new from this same dealer and had never been off road. I don-??t understand the integrity of the design for a vehicle that is four wheel drive and should be built to perform off-road having this issue with no off road activity ever taking place. Could you please take a look into this since I was made aware that if I didn-??t pay this large amount for the repair it could be a safety issue? Thanks for your review and looking into this matter.

1st problem....steering column rattles loudly in-between 45 and 60 mph and at speeds below 10mph. Trucks front end grinds when making slow speed right hand turns. Also truck lurches, grinds and rattles the entire front end slowing down or backing up at slow speeds....this happens when brakes are not being applied. Sometimes when I drive the truck the steering wheel stays off center to the right and pulls very hard to the right. Chrysler says it possible the electronic power steering rack but they dont have a fix. Gets worse almost every day. 2nd problem....I have noticed the truck has marks where the knuckle and the lower control arm are hitting each other. I understand the need for steering stops but these are not steering stop hits. These parts are structural parts of the truck that are not supposed to hit. Both sides are doing this and I do not feel the truck is safe with this issue and it has caused stressed areas on the front end of the truck. This could cause parts to fail and have serious consequences at any speed the truck is going if they decide to fail. My truck has been to the dealership 4 times and was just dropped off again today. They said they may have to replace the parts that are hitting...but they are the same parts and it will do the same exact thing again. They gave me a 2019 Ram to drive as a loaner and this truck doesnt have the air suspension like mine does. I inspected under the truck and found the same exact issue on this truck. I believe Chrysler has a serious issue with these trucks that started with the design and they are not taking care of the issue. I have a $62,000 dollar truck I do not feel is safe and I am not getting answers to correct these issues. The date below is estimated when I took it to the dealership the first time. This has been an ongoing problem with no resolve from Chrysler
