problem #2

Jun 132023

1500 Laramie 5.7L Hemi

  • Automatic transmission
  • 36,000 miles

Never had an issue with this truck until it hit 36,000 miles. Shortly after, I began to notice a very rough start up. I thought I got bad gas somewhere and did some fuel injector cleaner and using more premium gas more often. Nothing fixed it. I've noticed when it starts up from cold it is very bad. Shift into reverse and it quiets down, neutral it's loud again, drive it's quieter. My wife noticed it sounded terrible and came outside to say it sounded like sh*t. Since I was out of warranty I'm trying to find a solution to fix it myself. I've heard ticking from other rams but this sounds like it's about to blow up on start up. Then it goes away after I reach about 25mph

1500 Big Horn 5.8L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 8,900 miles

I bought this 2020 Ram in January 2021 and soon after, I started to take to the dealer for the ticking noise and the rough idle and rough starts. Every time I took it in to the dealer they told me there was nothing wrong with the truck, but I also have a second Ram 2020 with the same engine and it does not have this problem.

After several trips to the dealer, I still have the same issues and no fix.

Now I see there is a lawsuit for the same issues - I need to know how I can add to it or a solution to fix my problem.
