The contact called on behalf of his grandparents who owned a 2022 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while his grandfather was driving at an undisclosed speed, the brake pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to stop as intended. The contact stated that due to the failure the vehicle crashed into a huge stone flowerpot outside of the dealer. The huge stone flowerpot then struck a parked vehicle. The parked vehicle sustained damages to the front bumper. The contact's grandparents vehicle had damages to the front grill and cosmetic scratches to the vehicle. The grandparent's vehicle was left at the dealer to be diagnosed; however, the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the vehicle was returned to the finance company. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but provided no assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 8,000.
