Earlier this summer I noticed an occasional drip of water from my oh Sh#& bar on the drivers side of my truck. I didn't think much of it because I just figured it was my window not closed far enough or door not closed tight enough, but it turns out everything was tightly closed. I noticed that when I park in my drive way at our cabin, and my truck is on a slight pitch to the front, water must enter somewhere around the moon roof seal or the door seal and then fills the head liner with water. As I begin driving the water flows out the sun visor mount and the grab bar and depending on how much rain we had it can be pretty annoying. Anyone else experience this and know how to fix without ram tech??

Water has been leaking in somewhere ruining the headliner in rear corners of cab. Truck has sunroof and is causing it to sag all around sunroof and noticed the Velcro sticky tabs that hold headliner up are all coming undone. Also LED overhead console light quit working, not sure if it's related to water leak yet.

Okay i bought a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500. Five days later I was on my way back from Arlington Tx to Austin and it rained. a few days later i was looking for some stuff i had placed under the back seat storage area and found that every thing was dripping wet. well i was shocked but thought surely a brand new truck would not leak water. I asked my kid thinking maybe he had an accident and spilled some water. He replied i don't think so. Well i dried it up as best as i could and forgot about it. Well well today, a day after a good rain, i again was looking for something under the back seat and i cursed out loud because every thing was soaking wet. My things, the carpet and even have water in the built in ice boxes. I'm taking it to the dealer Monday to see what the hell is going on.

According to the dealer this is common issue with this model of RAM vehicle. They have multiple vehicles in their service department that have this issue. Dodge corporate is not honoring this as a warranty claim. The recommended repair is to remove and seal the third brake light lens with silicone, thus preventing bulb replacement in the future. The leakage damaged the headliner and the replacement with labor is $ 2049.00 to repair. In this repair they will not replace the brake light assembly. Known defect and shoddy repair. Extremely poor customer service for a $ 60,000.00 + vehicle.
