problem #1

Dec 292011

2500 ST 6.7L Diesel

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50 miles

This truck is a death trap. If you drive over 40 miles per hour towing you can not hold it in the middle of the road. Dealer checked front end alignment. They said it was ok. They put 4 new tires on it at 1900 miles. Problem is still there. If you hook a trailer on to it, it goes completely road crazy. I have all the up to date safety equipment to tow any type of trailer. Dodge as of now, can not find the problem. The truck is unsafe for even a professional driver to tow with it. I pulled the same trailer down the same road on the same day with my GMC 2500 (year 2009) and have not problem at all towing the same trailer. If you have any comments as to what my problem may be, I will check your suggestion out. Because of right now, I own a $50,000 death trap, known as a Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel. In fact, I'm fixing to file a report with the safety defect department in Washington D.C. Hopefully no one gets killed in one of these trucks before they take notice. Because I fear for my life everytime I hook a trailer to this truck and pull it.
