2500 Laramie 6.7L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 93,000 miles

I would like to know if anyone has replaced this part themselves? And what are the pros and cons?

We have twins getting married and can't afford to fork out the money right now to replace a turbo actuator.

We spent $60k on what should be our forever truck and did not expect to have to spend thousands in the first 5 years.

This truck has been in the shop already at least 5 different times for major fixes. I think it is pretty $h*** that everything breaks right after the warranty runs out.

Guess we buy a clunker until this is paid off and we can afford to fix it.
