We have 4 of the 2012 Ram 2500 CNG purchased in 2013. 2 have had engine failures and the other 2 are, I'm sure, not far behind as they are now ticking from the valve train. Cam & Lifter failures, and looks like the roller lifters stopped rolling and wearing the camshafts down flat. Eventually the valves on the affected cylinder won't open, and you'll get a pop from the intake at times.
The only other alternative is that the Cams are very soft, as in not hardened correctly, adding to the issue.
