The contact owns a 2013 Ram 2500. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 17V302000 (air bags); however, the parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. Lithia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat of eugene (2121 martin luther king jr blvd, eugene, or 97401) was contacted and confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedy. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and was not able to confirm when the parts were to become available. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

The contact owns a 2013 Ram 2500. While driving various speeds or while parked, the service tire pressure, SRS air bag, and low coolant warning lights illuminated. Also, the radio would turn on and off with the volume excessively loud. All the locks in the vehicle would lock and unlock periodically. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the body control module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the remedy failed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 85,000.

The contact owns a 2013 Ram 2500. The contact stated that while driving at 35 mph, the vehicle was involved in a front end collision. In addition, the air bags did not deploy, the electrical system did not shut down, and the seat belts did not retract. Prior to the accident, the vehicle was serviced under NHTSA campaign number: 15V459000 (air bags). The vehicle was taken to the dealer however a determination had not been established whether the vehicle was destroyed or not. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. A police report was filed. There was one injury that required medical attention. The contact suffered from pain in the shoulder, knee, ankle, and neck. The failure mileage was 29,000.

Took my vehicle in to a scheduled appointment on 3/12/2016 at 10 am. Went back to the dealer on 3/16/2016 at 11:30 am due to not getting any return phone calls from the messages I left and found that nothing had been done. These recalls could be dangerous but san antonio Chrysler Dodge does not think so.
