The contact owns a 2014 Dodge Ram 2500 cargo van. The contact stated that the side view mirror heated/defroster function were not functioning during icy and snowy weather. The vehicle was equipped with no side or rear windows, which the contact only had the side view mirrors to depend on when switching lanes. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 1,900.
