After getting new tires and a front end alignment I noticed my steering wheel was all of a sudden about 45 degrees off center. I started inspecting and found that my tie rods were loose and tires out of alignment. Thankfully I purchased the tires through a ford dealer and they gladly realigned my front end free of charge. After some research I found this to be all too common in these trucks.
