We have a 2014 Promaster 2500. By 155,000 miles it had its second engine installed. By 146,000 it had the third transmission installed. At present the van started shifting loudly and we are getting it looked at to see if there any new transmission developments. We are beyond angry and frustrated. This is the worst vehicle in existence.

The list of problems is so extensive I could not leave them all here: Windshield cracked when defroster was turned on in the winter Water pours all over us after a rainstorm and we accelerate Emergency break lever stays engaged so the beeping never stops unless you tie the handle down Continually needs front end alignments. Parasitic draw on electrical cost me FIVE batteries before we had to install a kill switch! To lock the van I have to lock it from inside, disengage the battery, then get out and hand lock the door. The cabin air circulating pump on the left side started clanking and had to be replaced. Now the cabin circulating pump on the right side is clanking and will need to be replaced. The seals on the back door and sliding doors all came off The lock on the back door does not engage the locking bar on the bed There were multiple problems with the exhaust that, when we got the engine replaced, had to also be replaced (I don't know what those parts were) You cannot stop the dashboard odometer from blinking One window button broke out and so you can't open the passenger window without reaching across the van to the right door Pieces on the steering wheel have come off And by the way, this isn't after years of use, it has been this way since 2018 and I have just been putting up with it because I can't afford a new van- even though it cost me $13,000 to put in the new engine and transmission- something YOU SHOULD HAVE PAID FOR. Cover plates by the front hood keep coming off Light bulb housing for front lights broke apart and now light bulbs are metal taped into the interior Back keeps blowing out bulbs Had to replace the Calipers because two of them just snapped apart Had to disconnect the backup camera and radio to help with the electrical draw and now no one can get them operational

This company should be forced to close. How can you turn out vehicles that are so abysmally abhorrent, lacking any degree of quality in workmanship, costing me three times the price of a new one because I am constantly fixing something and have too much invested into it to just walk away? If I can find my Edmunds review I could add the plethora of other things that have gone wrong with it as this is not nearly the entire list.

I am thoroughly disgusted with RAM and embarrassed to been seen driving this van.

Please purchase my van so I can buy a Ford. Or do something. I have never owned a more worthless piece of garbage in my life. I cannot express with words the disdain I have for Ram and the utter loathing and disgust I feel every day driving it. As the break warning beeper suddenly comes on, as the circulating pump starts clicking for 60 seconds, as water pours in onto my lap, as the window won't roll down, as the van suddenly makes a loud banging noise as it shifts, as I put on the air on my feet and only the defroster will blow air, as I have to turn off the van and lock it from inside, as I have to actually bang or kick the side door to release the latch to open the sliding door, as I have to get out and check behind me because I no longer have a rear camera, as warning lights come one saying yet more bulbs have blown, as I watch the blinking of the odometer at night, on, off, on, off, on, off, on, off over and over again, making sure I have metal tape in case the light bulbs need replacing, as I always lock the back door in case it suddenly swings open, and to be careful breaking because I don't need any more calipers suddenly breaking bolts...... I have 164,000 miles on this, the first transmission went at 98,000 because these are rated for minivans... The audacity of Ram to actually sell these- for money! I wouldn't give one away to an enemy.

So the question is, how are you going to make it all right with your customers? Everyone I know is switching to Fords. How are you going to maintain, or reestablish, a healthy customer following? I would very much like to know, because I waste no time telling everyone and everyone how horrible your products are. I do my best to list my plight and issues with my Promaster 2500, the worst rated van on the market, with every web site I can and with every person I can. How are you going to win us back again? How are you going to stop the systematic destruction of your company, because it's headed for ruin? FYI: It's not just the 2500's, my friend has a 3500, his transmission went as well. Quality? None. Integrity of Ram? None seen yet to date. Standing behind their products? Ha, absolutely not. But there to sell you over-priced replacement parts that wear out in 1/2 the time of other company's parts. Can you salvage the sinking ship???

THIS TRUCK SUCKS, Going camping in Florida the transmission start acting up and took it to dealership in Florida and they replaced the torque converter and blamed me, saying I did not use my tow switch witch was bull. The best part they said they was going to train me how to push the button, really. Got truck back in about five days left for home and had same trouble and by the time we got back to ohio the transmission went completely out pulling in drive. Shop had it another 6 weeks or more and they blamed me again saying my camper was to much to pull, really again. I proved to them it was not and they finally replaced the transmission. Lost most of the camping season due to no truck. I had about 7 recalls on this truck and its not even 2 yrs. old, pretty bad right. Now my front suspension needs to be welded on for another recall for bad welds, steering is jacked up and been off the road because of the front end hopping straight off the road in a ditch and Chrysler is still letting me drive this truck because they could not give me a loaner. So I went off at dealer and left and I am trying to get Chrysler to buy the truck back again after filing the Lemon Law with the transmission problems. Maybe I will get some response before I get killed in it or someone else.
