The contact owns a 2014 Dodge Ram 2500. While having the tires replaced by an independent mechanic, the contact was informed that the valve stems were fractured. As a result, the valve stems needed to be replaced. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer who stated that if the valve stems were changed, the failure would still recur. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and was informed that the tires were functioning as designed. The failure mileage was 27,000.
