When pulling a camper the truck shut off (there was no function of the gas or brake pedal) causing the camper to jack knife and hit the rear tail light. When the camera caught up to the truck wet spun 180 degrees at 65 mph then flipped. No airbag went off and the seatbelt did not stay locked. My son who was sitting in the back climbed out of the backseat without unlatching his seatbelt.

Driver's seat belt buckle releases the seat belt without being touched. I tug on the belt every time I latch it because of this but it still releases the belt afterwards about 30% of the time, usually just after pulling away from the parking spot. I bought the truck with 48, 000 miles on it and almost 1 year old. It has done this since I first bought it.

The contact owns a 2016 Ram 2500. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, the rear windows failed to operate. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the rear window motor failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. After the repair, the contact attempted to secure a child safety seat in the rear of the vehicle; however, the seat belt came out of the seat belt housing. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. After speaking with the manufacturer, the contact was informed that a team from the manufacturer would have to inspect the vehicle to inspect the seat belt failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 400.

While securing our family into the 2016 Ram 2500 truck we had just purchased new at the dealership, I found that the rear center seat belt was not anchored to the floor, leaving the center seating position unsafe for occupancy. It was after closing by the time this issue was discovered so the seat belt was not able to be fixed before we left the dealership. Vehicle was taken to a different dealership two days later to have the seat belt properly secured, as it should have been before leaving the factory......updated 08/11/16
