ABS light and traction light going on and off multiple times during driving. Sometimes every 1 second or so. Then sometimes it won't go off for days. Took into dealership since OBDII scanner I owned did not provide the ABS codes. Dealership immediately knew the problem and diagnosed within the first 2 minutes of walking through the door. HCU replacement first, if that doesn't fix then ABS control unit replacement. About $400 for the HCU, then $500 for ABS control unit plus labor and oil.

I should have taken it in before warranty ran out. Only covered under basic warranty. ABS will not work if light is ON. It is a fault and thinks there is a problem with the unit. This is a safety issue and should have had a recall done. HCU and ABS control unit is discontinued online. Would have to get updated part numbers from dealership. ABS control unit is on back order, with no update on delivery timeframe.

Truck only has 55K miles and already had the drag link issue and now the "Service Antilock Brake System" message periodically flashes on the screen. At first it only came up rarely while driving, but now it comes up every few minutes, flashes and beeps, and goes away. Brakes appears to be working properly but have not had to do any hard braking. Anyone know how this was fixed?

Another issue not sure if related that also just started happening is the steering wheel vibrates when turning as if the 4WD is on but the selector button is on 2WD. Could this be related?

The same as other Ram owners - abs and traction control light comes on. This is a dangerous situation that Dodge is apparently hiding from - from viewing other complaints this is a recurring problem that Dodge has failed to find a solution for.
