The light comes on every time I drive it which is very annoying and of course, rings warnings too. When it comes on, I lose cruise control and the truck lurches somewhat.
They tell me it's not dangerous to drive since I can still brake....REALLY??? No ABS brakes seems to ba a severe problem to me.

Was driving to work the other morning and it kept flashing “Service Antilock Brake System” and “Service Electronic Braking System”. The warning or notification goes out and comes back almost every time you hit a slight bump in the road. I drive 34 miles one way to work and usually make it about 2/3 way to work before it starts doing its thing. As many complaints as there are you’d think the manufacturer would try to come up with a solution.

Service ABS and Electronic Brake System alert has been coming on. This started at about 35,000 miles, Dec. of 2022. Was told at dealership that the part(s) needed to fix this would not be available until Feb. of 2024. This problem is annoying and quite dangerous as it completely disables the cruise control. Recall?? Anyone??

abs light on will not go off, took to dealership, said hcu bad, needs to be replaced on a truck with only 50,000 miles and the cost would be appx $800.00 for hcu.

Intermittent, only flashes and annoying bell rings, had diagnosed and found ABS failure , no replacement part available . Frustrating

2018 Ram with 22,000 miles and the ABS control module has needed replacement for 4 months. Part is not available until possibly January. What are we supposed to do when unable to drive the vehicle and we have to wait months for it to be fixed? RAM needs a recall on this part. There are too many people that have the same issue!

Just like the other 80 something people on here and countless others on forums, my ABS and Electric Brake Warning lights and dinging sound are constantly coming on. I use to think it was a short and a bumpy road might be causing it, but now it does it with truck in brake, just idling.

This is the 2nd time for this problem. The first time was in July 2020 with 9K miles and covered under warranty. This time in July 2022 with 23K miles and out of warranty. I haven't had any braking problems; only the annoying message all the time. This appears to be a common problem and should be covered under a recall.

Service ABS and Electronic Brake System alert has been coming on, this started at about 29,000 miles. This truck was placed in service May 2019. I took it in for service at my local dealer 9/21/2021... I will see what they have to say. This is perhaps an issue many others have experienced it seems.

ABS warning light and "service electronic braking system" light intermittently engaged and then increased in frequency to where it now does it every time I drive the truck. The truck has only 10,500 miles. Dealer said it is ABS and HCU modules and will cost over $2000 to repair if the parts ever arrive. There should be a service bulletin or post-warranty coverage considering the thousands of others suffering the same problem.
