Flash: Powertrain Control Module (PCM) Updates
This bulletin involves reprogramming the PCM with the latest available software. The customer may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find the following DiagnosticTrouble Code (DTC) has been set:P0456 - EVAP System Small Leak. In addition, the customer may notice one or more of the following conditions:Vehicle hesitation or surge at low vehicle speeds. Engine
hesitation when turning steering wheel to end stop. Powertrain bump or hesitation around 16-24 kph (10-15 mph) vehicle speed. Maybe reported as rough or harsh transmission shifting in the same vehicle speed range.
