I was making a left turn and something under my feet or floorboard a loud crack. then as i completed the turn there was a continue cracking sound until I stop. I looked for a problem, finding nothing obvious. As I drove off there was a noticeable knocking sound. Did not notice and different in the driving except a slight drift to the left, there is more knocking on rough roads. My 2020 Ram 2500 truck has only 18946 miles driven. I purchased the truck new, have had several of the recalls taken care of. I live in north Texas as of now 38 days temp over 100F. On a web site there are several others with the same problem and several fixes some have worked others not.

Trailer brake controller issues. When you manually engage the trailer brakes it doesn-??t produce enough voltage to the trailer to hold.dealer replace brake controller and module still the same issue. I unplugged the factory brake controller and installed a aftermarket brake controller and it will stop when manually engaged. I feel as if it-??s a program issue. Any other vehicle I try on my travel trailer the brakes work. After reading ram truck forums it seems others man be having the same issue. I feel as it is some kind of software or the way the module is programmed only because if I bypass the factory controller with a aftermarket it works on on travel trailer

* Feb. 6, 2023, both vehicle batteries went dead and had to be jumped by our USAA Insurance roadside assistance person in the home parking lot. When batteries were checked at a local auto store, they confirmed both batteries were dead due to an excessive draw to both batteries of 13.5 volts without any explanation as to why. We had to replace both batteries and reported this to the cerified dealership and was told they would not pay for the batteries to be replaced. Feb. 8, 2023, the vehicle starting losing power during normal driving, engine started skipping and engine light in dash came on. * Vehicle slows down and will not accelerate therefore, vehicle is undriveable and unsafe to drive. * No, this issue has not been confirmed by a dealer because no certified dealers within 100 mile radius of our zip code (29407) have technicians available for service. There is a month+ backlog of recall service work ahead of us at these dealers. * USAA Insurance (our auto insurance co.) towed in vehicle to the closest certified dealer to us (approx 4 miles away from our house). We were provided a 8-10 day period before diagnosis can be performed (and price given of $149 for diagnosis) and also dealer cannot perform recall before March 8, 2023. * No warning lamps, messages or other symptoms appeared before this and was even at the certified dealership in Dec. 2022 for oil change without any other symptoms.

I cannot find the complaint link on the website so I-€™m logging a complaint here. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (Ram) is not repairing the 2021 recall fast enough. It is now 2023. This is a safety issue! Over 1 year and still no fix/part.

I have 3 open recalls and my local dealer states that they are not being provided with the parts to make the necessary repairs. If that is true then shame on Chrysler / Dodge for not providing Martin Swanty with the necessary parts to make these repairs. It-€™s been over a year for some of these recalls, this is beyond unprofessional.

The spare tire was/is mounted incorrectly under the truck. This has caused the sidewalls in the spare tire to rub causing massive damage to the sidewalls making the tire unusable. If the tire is used it will blow out and cause a major accident.

Gear Shifter and Vehicle Dash does not accurately reflect the vehicle's gear. Putting the truck in neutral today resulted in an accident as it was still in drive and had the ability to accelerate. Another similar incident was putting the vehicle in reverse from drive, but truck was stuck in neutral. Putting the vehicle in park resulted in reverse, etc... There are no prior warnings or faults in dash and it just spontaneously occurs at random times.

On 1/21/2022 I was driving from Grand Junction CO, to my home in Broomfield CO. Halfway through the 250 mile trip, I received a warning 'Low DEF'. I looked at my DEF tank gauge as soon as I got the message - it read 1/4 tank. A couple minutes pass and another message displays - Service Diesel Exhaust System - See Dealer and my truck immediately loses power and dies when i'm in the fast lane - Eastbound I-70 to Denver. I pulled into the slow lane and finally off the side of the interstate. I did not go into limp mode, never received the countdown message '250 Miles Until Limp Mode', and the truck would not start once I was on the side of the interstate. It died just West of Vail Colorado. The weather was approx 25 degrees and snowing. I then contacted CFA Roadside Assistance, which came with my purchase. After speaking with a representative, I was told a tow truck was on the way. I was then told I needed to get a Taxi to pick me up on the interstate, because I wouldn't be allowed to ride with the tow driver to safety. The tow never came. I called CFA a second time, 4 hours later and spoke with a second representative that told me the tow had been canceled. I was never notified of the tow cancelation and was told CFA would arrange for a second tow. They never arranged a second tow, and still haven't reached out to check on my condition. I'm going to reiterate, I was left in freezing, snowing conditions in the Rocky Mountaints with no way to start my truck and no assistance from the Roadside assistance program I've paid for w/the vehicle purchase. In a desperate attempt I returned to my vehicle with DEF fluid hoping adding additional DEF would allow me to start the vehicle. My safety was put at risk trying to fill the DEF tank on a blind interstate curve, in snow and icy conditions, with semi's passing two feet away. I was not able to restart the truck after adding DEF. Now my truck as at RAM Silverthorne, and they won't look at it until 2/17/2022.

When I unlock my truck and enter, my odometer adds hundreds of miles to the mileage.l have a video recording of this happening and I made a few screen shots to upload in this form. It has been happening since I bought the used truck but I wasn't fast enough to record it until today. If Ram is doing this to all it's trucks, this could be as big as the Volkswagen diesel scandal. Imagine shortening the warranty mileage of all Ram vehicles to increase repair income!

2020 Ram 2500 purchased brand new. I along with many others from forums and other groups are having a issue with the remote/remote start. The remote start works fine, but once the truck is remote started and running and you attempt to unlock the vehicle to enter, it won't unlock. I have had this happen numerous times and have actually had to use the physical key to open the truck when it is remote started. I have tried both remotes and it has the same issue so it can't be the remotes. Sometimes you can hold the unlock button down for approximately 5 seconds and it unlocks most of the time it doesn't.

Have a squeak that started about 200 miles ago, (have 4900 mile on truck). Did some research and many other people have this problem with the 2019-2020 cummins 6.7 motor. It seems to be some sort of pulley or the belt. The truck is brand new with only 4900 miles and should not have any squeak coming from the belts or pulley. People are having to replace pulleys and belts 7 plus times and still the problem hasn't been fixed. Dealer I took my truck to couldn't fix the issue. Fca needs to address this.

Vehicle engages the forward collision warning and active braking at reduced speeds when turning inside of a parking garage. Numerous complaints online confirm similar instances. I had to manually turn off the forward collision active breaking just because it was so sensitive I was not able to move at any speed inside of a parking garage (particularly when approaching a corner to move up in levels) without the active braking occurring. Any vehicle following would be at increased risk of colliding with my vehicle.
