The ignition shuts off when you hit a slight bump or touch the key. This is even when driving! The truck shuts off and losses complete power, brakes, steering and lights! This is a huge problem after Googling this is happening on 2009- 2019 ram truck models. We have had near misses while pulling a horse trailer and 5th wheel! This should be a recall it's very dangerous! Checking dodge Chrysler is aware of this issue because the 2020 models have different win modules and fobs. HELP

The contact owns a 2012 Ram 3500. While driving various speeds, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing, but the failure could not be duplicated. The failure recurred and the vehicle was taken back to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the ignition receiver and transmitter failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 144,000.
