I received a recall notice and contacted the dealer for service. Was informed that the parts would not be available for more than 30 weeks because of a restriction on availability of parts. Called back two months later to find out updates if any and was told that I must now bring in the vehicle for an inspection to find out if my truck needs a part replacement or not. Took in and they said yes it did need it but the parts are still not available and won't be for quite a long time. Am now waiting for a call from the dealer as to parts availability and scheduling. I find it ridiculous that there is a major safety issue being ignored and not fixed immediately by the manufacturer, I use this truck to haul heavy loads long distances and count on it for my income. I am upset that the parts are not available and that I could be in danger of a serious crash if they fail.
