3500 ST 6.7L Cummins

  • Automatic transmission
  • 917 miles

pulling 8.5k travel trailer in 4wd lost all foward gears

This is the first time I have had to deal with a major failure like this , had all 4 of my kids in truck, what if I pulled out into a busy highway when this transmission let go!!!! Caused an accident or worse killed someone. I am a die hard Chevy and GMC truck man , still own a 1993 1/2 ton 4x4 and had too many others to list (those transmissions give you a warning , never had one break like this). Purchased a 2011 Nitro for the wife ,traded that in for a 2012 RAM 1500 4x4 390hp hemi that got better MPG , figure that one out? So im not new to the Dodge game , never had one complaint about them. then stepped up to this cummins powered rig , and tranny goes out at 917 miles! and have not even made one payment. Dealing with the lying dealership , don't even get me started. I will try to give an update once they are done rebuilding my trans.

Update from Jun 2, 2013: looked on your web site . and you don't have my problem current even though I posted it months ago . you people suck dodge dick!!!!

3500 6.7L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 18,000 miles

Bought brand new truck, at 18.000 miles transmission went, dealer replaced at 30.000 miles again transmission went, and now 60.000 miles on truck again transmission problem, average 20.000 miles on a tranny, I'm sick of this, I take care the truck like a baby, easy load, don't go true mountains, seems like its torque is going bad, than transmission overheats, and warranty takes average one month to replace it, wow it's a pain in a ass.
