Took truck to Mac Haik here in Houston to perform the recall. The jam nut on drag link was welded, which was not a fix.Went back after being told truck can't be aligned with the drag link being welded. Was told I'd have to pay out of pocket for the weld to be cut, which sense have led to other issues with the front suspension. Attached is docs concerning this matter.....I been having a open claim with Dodge Chrysler and Jeep for over 2 years. Is there any remedy for such a problem?

The contact owns a 2013 Ram 1500. While driving 70 mph, the vehicle began accelerating on its own and would not decelerate even when the brake pedal was depressed. The contact placed the vehicle into neutral, but the engine continued to rev. Eventually, the vehicle began to slow down. When the contact attempted to accelerate, the accelerator pedal traveled to the floorboard and stalled. The failure continued until the contact was able to coast the vehicle into an abandoned parking lot. Cortland Chrysler Dodge Jeep (3878 West rd, cortland, NY 13045, (607) 218-7520) was contacted and stated that the failure also occurred on other vehicles and that the engine control module needed to be updated. The contact was able to drive the vehicle home without incident. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 21,000.

The contact owns a 2013 Ram 3500. While accelerating from a stop, the accelerator pedal traveled to the floorboard independently and the service throttle warning indicator illuminated. The driver managed to depress the brake pedal to stop the vehicle approximately one mile later. While the vehicle was idling, the driver waited for the failure codes to clear before driving home. The contact called diehl Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of salem (located at 400 legacy ln, salem, oh 44460, (330) 337-3475) and was advised to have the vehicle towed to their facility. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided case number: 57569312. The approximate failure mileage was 52,393.

My Ram truck went into a malfunction and limited the speed to 5 miles per hour causing a major highway safety issue. The truck put all passengers and operators in danger. The def system in this vehicle can only be reset by a Ram dealer which causes other issues besides extreme dangers driving conditions.

The new Dodge Ram equipped with cummins diesel experience a dead pedal, or pedal delay when pressing the gas pedal 3/4 to full throttle. This poses a serious risk when needing to get out of the way, or move the vehicle under emergency circumstances. This happens under all conditions: Stopped, rolling, under acceleration etc. If you push the pedal too far the truck will not respond to operator commands and will take 1.5-2 seconds to start picking up speed. This is a seriously dangerous situation and someone is going to get killed or seriously injured. There is not excuse for a vehicle not responding to driver input. Manufacture claims "turbo lag", this is simply not true. You can build turbo boost, monitored on the vehicle gauge, then press the pedal to the floor, the truck will not respond for 1.5 to 2 seconds. Please look at further information on the cummins forum below, it has numerous articles about this issue. Here as a link to just one of them. www.cumminsforum.com/forum/2013-general-discussion/1836593-very-slow-throttle-response.html please, help fix this issue before someone gets hurt or killed due to the inability to move the vehicle out of harms way. This tsb somewhat addresses the problem, but only fixes it partially, not to the point that it is safe. Tsb 18-041-15 I believe the manufacture knows this is an issue, but is not fixing it due to emissions related programming on the vehicle. There are aftermarket solutions to this problem, however they void the manufacture warranty, and im not willing to lose my warranty on a new vehicle. I will be submitting another one of these for my 2015 as well, since they both have the same issue. Thank you.

Serpentine belt broke from supposed "wear" at 37K miles with such force that it broke the fan and radiator on a 2013 3500 Ram hd truck, rendering the truck's steering, brakes, etc., useless, if on mountain/curvy road extremely dangerous; this vehicle was on interstate highway and difficult to get from left lane to right median. Would have been impossible to correct if in curve. Truck is still in for repairs at dealership 12 days later. No invoice received; amount due $1500+

2013 Dodge Ram 3500. Attorney representing consumer writes in regards to vehicle throttle issues. While driving, the throttle became stuck and caused the vehicle to increase in speed. An inspection was performed by the dealer, where the onboard computer showed the throttle usage was 80& and the brake was 79% at the time of the incident. The dealer informed the consumer there was nothing they could do, since the issue was not on the bulletin board as an issue to be addressed.

Randomly, while attempting to avoid hazards and/or collisions and while merging onto motorway, gas pedal becomes unresponsive for up to 5 seconds. This usually happens from a dead stop; however, has occurred while traveling at highway speeds also.

There is an extreme hesitation between the time the throttle pedal is applied to when the vehicle begins moving. This issues seems to be most noticeable when the throttle petal is pressed slowly and also when the throttle pedal is pressed hard, released, and pressed again. I have had many close calls when merging into traffic or when turning at intersections.

My truck has been plagued with a terrible delay in throttle response. When trying to merge into traffic there is a severe delay between imputing throttle and the truck actually accelerating. It's almost like the truck takes 3-6 seconds to realize throttle input. This has become very dangerous when attempting to merge or turn across traffic. I have taken my truck into the dealership but there is nothing available to rectify this. I am clearly not alone on this, many of us having been having lengthy discussions on the forums in hopes of a fix.

Stepped on accelerator pedal, backed off and stepped back down on pedal. Truck did not respond. Very dangerous when pulling out in front of oncoming cars. This is an ongoing condition, happens all the time if I push on the pedal too hard, the truck takes several seconds to respond.

When letting off the gas pedal and then pressing again, (like merging or a rolling stop) there is a lag of 1-2 seconds. Very dangerous when pulling out in traffic. Ram says that is normal. This need to be investigated. Thanks
