Fuel leak in engine compartment. Fuel filter housing was replaced due to leakage around fuel heater elements in housing. This is exactly the same problem and same fuel filter housing that brought about Ram recall P65. I have contacted Ram and filed a report as well as retained the failed part.

After only 57K miles the fuel sensor / fuel pump is malfunctioning. Fuel gauge is not working. I believe not knowing how much fuel is in the truck constitutes a safety issue. This is a common problem with Ram trucks as reported 100S of times on line.

This is about my dead pedal when letting of the accelerator to merge ect there is like a 2 to 3 second delay in power. I have almost been hit several times. I do not trust the truck. Seems like a accident waiting to happen.

I have a 2017 Ram 3500 with an aisin transmission. The throttle lag in this truck is very dangerous. I really have to be careful when crossing roads or pulling into traffic because the truck hesitates 2-5 seconds after I press on the throttle. This is a very dangerous situation and must be looked into. I have found many, many other people complaining of this problem and how serious it is. Ram will not do anything about it. Please look into before someone is killed, if they havent been already.

From a dead stop or trying to merge in traffic when hitting the accelerator there is a 2 to 3 second hesitation no power at all, then takes off. This is very dangerous afraid this is going to cause an accident. I have noticed a lot of people on the web talking about it, they are calling it a dead pedal. How many people does it take to make this a recall.

I was driving in heavy traffic on the freeway and attempting to merge to the right to exit the freeway. When I pressed the gas pedal to the floor to accelerate and merge into traffic, the engine hesitated and there was no power at all for 2-3 seconds. After that short period, the engine accelerated and I was able to safely merge. This sudden failure to accelerate when merging is a hazard because while waiting for power from the engine another car could close the distance and hit me due to the unexpected hesitation.

While beginning to pull out onto the highway, I noticed a vehicle that appeared to be coming faster than expected, I let off the throttle and then made the decision to continue entering the highway. When I got back on the throttle, there was an approximate 2 second delay where there is absolutely no throttle response. I averted an accident by managing to pull off the road, but this is an extremely dangerous situation. I had the same issue with my 2013 Ram 3500 I had previously. To summarize, I would call this a "dead pedal" issue. I can replicate this situation every time by accelerating, letting of the accelerator, and then getting back on the accelerator quickly. Again, there is a roughly 2 second time period where the engine does not respond whatsoever.
