Early on (before I noticed a recurring problem), while shifting into reverse, the rear view camera did not display in the rear view mirror. After shifting to forward, the rear view camera displayed in the rear view mirror showing what was behind me during the drive. After that, (occasionally) while shifting into reverse, the rear view camera located in the rear view mirror does not display. After researching blown fuses and such (basic troubleshooting), I found I have to turn the truck ignition off and then back on to get the display to work. After researching the problem online and finding a recall numbered: NHTSA campaign number 18V398000, I believe the recall should be adjusted to reflect (at a minimum of date of date of manufacture of my vehicle) the 2018 Ram 3500 and all other vehicles affected by this recall.

I own two of these trucks. They both have the same design flaw. The defroster vents do not place heat right in front of the driver. If you are in winter condition there is a vee of un-defrosted area right in front of the driver and if you drive in wintry freezing rain, ice will build up right in front of the driver even with the defrosters fully engaged.
