The contact owns a 2020 Ram 3500. The contact stated that the vehicle was attached to a trailer. After driving and arriving at the residence, the contact became aware that the tailgate had fallen inadvertently while driving, causing damage to the tailgate and the trailer. The contact took the vehicle to auffenberg Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (176 auto ct, O'fallon, il 62269, (618) 622-4546) to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the keyfob was unintentionally depressed while in his pocket, causing the tailgate to open inadvertently. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 4,000.
