DEF fluid froze leaving crystals that obstructed computer reading of DEF tank. This would have forced vehicle into emergency 5 mile an hour limp mode. Taken to local Dodge/Ram dealer that had nearly THIRTY other diesel trucks with same problem ahead of me. Once repaired to OEM specs, the service manager stated it will happen again. Dodge/Ram acknowledges this has been an issue for years. In Alaska winters this situation could very well be life threatening!!

When in reverse in dark conditions rear camera view is "white washed" making visibility impossible.

The transmission failed while driving in a remote area 600 mi from home. Check engine light came on. Truck was in the shop for over 50 days. The truck had less than 3,000 miles on it when the transmission failed.

My 2022 Ram 3500 Limited Longhorn Dually truck has had the transmission fail at 5300 miles. Was stranded along with my 5th wheel trailer and transmission only works in reverse. This is a well know problem with hundreds if not thousands of failures with the Aisin Transmission. Ram has issued a service bulletin 21-002-23, Snap Ring K-1 Failure in January 2023, but this needs to be a safety recall due to on Highway instances of vehicles being stuck on the highway with truck unable to move and will cause accidents. Owners are waiting months for repairs. These trucks are being sold to the public knowing there is a potential problem for trucks produced in 2022 with the Aisin Transmission.

My truck was at the dealership May 30th for repairs. I asked that recall 22V-835 be repaired. They were unable to complete the repair & advised FCA only allows the dealership to order QTY 2 of the parts needed for the repair per week. Yet recall states "parts available". Had my truck back at the dealership Aug 14 for a DEF system issue. They informed me I'd also have recall 23V-060 repaired. Aug 18, dealer advised all parts were in. Dropped off my truck at 8am Aug 22 for repairs. 3pm Aug 23, my truck recall was still not fixed due to part not arriving. I demanded my truck immediately because I was called into work out of state & had to leave. Dealership advised they are not allowed to let the vehicle leave with it unrepaired. I demanded a 1 ton pickup with gooseneck towing capability or my truck immediately. As of Aug 26, Dealership hasn't called with my parts. If "parts are available", why can't my dealership get them" How long am I ro wait? If my vehicle burns to the ground & my house with it, who is liable"

Driving on the freeway towing an empty trailer, when without any incident the check engine light came on. As I was exiting the freeway, I had what felt like no forward drive. I was able to coast off the exit and pull over. I found that I had reverse but forward was very weak. I was able to pull the truck and trailer a couple hundred feet ahead to safety in a large parking lot, then called the tow truck. I was able to have a friend meet me and take the trailer.

This is regarding safety recall 13A/NHTSA 23V-060 - possible fire risk related to the air intake grid heater relay. This recall was issued in February 2023 and RAM/FCA has not fixed it yet. They "SAY" the part is available but it's really not as the distribution of the parts has been unacceptably slow. I am currently on the waiting list at 2 different dealerships and it might take another 6 months according to my regular dealership. Given the serious nature of the risk (fire), this is ridiculous. RAM also blithely states that the vehicle should be parked outside away from other structures. Is there anything you can do to expedite the repairs for all of us who are waiting? Thank you.

Trailer TPMS does not work. This is a widespread issue on Internet forums with the 2022 RAM specifically and RAM refuses to address the issue. The trailer TPMS will lose configuration without warning and stop monitoring tire pressure. The only workaround I-??ve found is to repeatedly switch the trailer configuration within the infotainment until it happens to work properly. Sometimes it works immediately, sometimes it-??ll take a couple minutes of switching settings. TPMS that cannot be relied on is a safety issue.

I have contacted Stellantis several times and was assigned case number 86112892 and was told someone would contact me within 24-48 hours, but no one has contacted me since I called on May 8, 2023. I can't park or drive this vehicle anywhere without causing possible damage to someone's personal property or my own and I only have this vehicle to drive.

I parked the truck in my driver, turned it off and seen smoke under the hood. Opened the hood and there was a fire next to what I believe is a coil pak. Tried to put it out with a fire extinguisher but it didn't help. It then engulfed into flames, blowing air bags, and busting out windows.

The vehicle had been parked in the street for several hours. I started the vehicle in order to back it into my driveway for the night and then turned it off (total run time for the operation was most likely under a minute from the time the engine was started until it was shut down). The temperature was relatively cool and I did have to wait for the grid heater to cycle before the engine started. I did not notice any signs, warnings, safety indicators, or dash lights to alert me to any possible problems. Upon exiting the truck I detected a very faint and quickly disipating odor of hot electrical components, similar to a fourescent light ballast that has gone bad. I looked around but didn't see anything. I began retrieving some tools from the rear passenger side of the truck and smelled the same odor but stronger. Over the next 30-40 seconds I began to search for the source and realized that white smoke was now pouring out from under the hood of the truck. I was able to get it to start and pulled it into the street just prior to flames coming from under the hood near the drivers windshield. 911 was contacted as I tried to remove any belongings from the cab. The truck is now a total loss due to fire most likely. The fire and police responded to put the vehicle out but it was almost completely engulfed on their arrival. My insurance company is attempting to gain possession of the vehicle to begin their investigation. The Vehicle has approx 16,900 miles and was Serviced for safety recall Y76 for risk of engine fire on September 21st of 2022. The vehicle had 14,192 miles when it was inspected and passed according to the recall standards at the time. The vehicle has no other history of repairs or service items and has had no other mechanical or electrical problems to date. This was a very close call that could have resulted in the loss of my home, all my possessions, and risked harm to myself and my family if I had not stopped to get tools from the cab.
