The contact owns a 2014 Ram 5500. While driving 70 mph, the vehicle decelerated on its own due to the diesel regeneration filter and a warning message appeared, which warned of going into limp mode. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (solomon Chrysler Jeep Dodge located at 409 national pike w, brownsville, pa 15417, (724) 785-8000) where it was diagnosed that the diesel particle filter was engaged. The vehicle was repaired, but the repairs were unknown. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and provided case number: 31605523. The failure mileage was approximately 110,000. The VIN was unavailable.
