After the van returned from a day on the road, a very small puddle of fluid formed under the engine. It was noticed by the driver, but figured it was just the typical moisture from a/c system. This was despite NOT using the a/c system but the floor/defrost combo mode on the heater setting, with a "mixed" temp of cool and warm settings. While the morning was cool and foggy, the day turned out beautiful and sunny at 55 degrees. The following morning we could tell the fluid was a lot more than typical as it had enough to puddle and run down the grade of the sloped parking area to the road. We then thought it was coolant but quickly ruled that out. At startup the dripping water began immediately and appeared to be coming from high up in the engine compartment on the drivers side. Knowing just enough about these systems, we felt it was safe to drive. An early morning message to service dept at Dodge/Ram dealer in Oak Harbor, WA was not returned. Later we called the service dept again. They assured us that it was just condensed moisture from a/c unit and not to worry. Likely they are correct, but this is a bit troubling at the least.
