Went to start the car and it wouldn't turn over. Dashboard diagnostics reported multiple alerts and problems ranging from low fuel, check brakes, tire pressure monitor, and check ESC system. Towed to dealer. Dealer jump started and returned a diagnosis of electrical short. Said the key gets stuck in ignition when the battery dies and that there is a parasitic draw on the battery so it will die again if the fault is not discovered. Will update once the dealership has found the exact issue.
Update from Aug 9, 2016: I can now confirm that the key still periodically gets stuck in the ignition! Not sure why. The only thing that works to get them out is to start the vehicle up put the car into reverse or drive and then back into park and turn off then keys are able to be removed. Very annoying!

Key stuck in ignition. This has happened 2 other times this week, but I could eventually remove it after sitting for an hour or more. This time key won't come out. Van is in park. It is my delivery van and I can leave it with the keys in due to it being a target to be stolen. Can't lock it. Dealer so far is not willing to offer help. Van it 6 month old and under warranty. Total B.S.
